Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) plays a central role in amino acid metabolism, neurotransmitter production, and the immune system. It supports nerves, hormones, and energy metabolism. With the Vitamin B6 Check, you can easily check your vitamin status from home—reliably and professionally analyzed in a lab.
A capillary blood sample in a tube is enough to precisely determine your vitamin B6 level. You'll receive your results securely and digitally, with clear reference ranges.
Who is the test for?
For anyone wanting to check their nerve and metabolic health—for example, if you have ongoing fatigue, stress, skin issues, mood swings, or suspect a vitamin deficiency.
Save 20 % on every delivery, pick your interval (every 3, 6 or 12 months) and pause or cancel anytime. Keep track of your values without reordering each time.
Everything for sampling: collection material, instructions, a return envelope for the lab and your personal test ID for the DoctorBox app.
Home tests do not replace medical advice. If your values are abnormal or you have symptoms, please consult a doctor.
Many people have undetected low values
Vitamin B6 (measured as pyridoxal phosphate, PLP) is involved in over 100 enzyme reactions, mainly in protein and nerve metabolism.
With a one-sided diet, high alcohol use, chronic inflammatory disease, kidney weakness or under certain medications (e.g. isoniazid, oral contraceptives).
Deficiency: skin inflammation, cracked corners of the mouth, anaemia, irritability, tingling. Overdosing from supplements can cause nerve damage.

A deficiency is rare with a balanced diet. High doses from supplements (over 25 mg daily long-term) are riskier than a mild deficiency.
Whole grains, legumes, nuts, fish and poultry provide B6. Supplement only with a proven deficiency and in moderate doses.
