Do you know which check-ups you are entitled to at what age? When will a health check-up3 be accepted? When is PSA screening or mammography screening useful?

Take a look at the website of your health insurance company or get personal advice. Because if a disease is detected early, before the first symptoms appear, the chances of treatment are usually better. This applies to cancers such as colon cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, #skin cancer as well as cervical cancer, for which the health insurance companies cover the costs of preventive examinations and sometimes even award points for the bonus programs. In addition, there are examinations for early detection that you pay for yourself, so-called individual health services (IGeL).

Which check-ups are you entitled to? ²

• 6 months to 17 years: dental check-ups and prophylaxis, up to twice a year
• from 18 years: dental check-up, up to 2x per year
